SELF-OBSESSION (2023) is a muscled monstrous version of a human taking a selfie with its head blanked out. The extreme muscles growing everywhere is the exemplification of the growing self-obsession with gaining muscles without a limit simply for Instagram likes and the growing of a mindset that ends up being unhealthy despite healthy intentions at the start - it can become obsessive eventually.
Windowed (2023) is a gender-neutral nude in which a window and a plant pot replace parts of the belly. The arms swing towards the audience while exploring the idea of the inside person rather than the outside. The window lets you in, in which personalities and emotions are as varied as the colour scaling.
Fragility (2023) is an egg tempera on canvas painting (40.6 x 51cm (16" X 20")) that proposes the idea of a nude that has been sliced into pieces indicating different traumas and emotions with the eye- a circle. A reminder that one's eye holds one's thoughts and mental state.
It's supposed to be designed as if it was a mechanical robot; that humanity has been worked like an object and that's the only state that it knows- fragility. Humans were meant to break down until the system gets broken down and then another cycle of fragility begins as the new becomes the establishment and replaces the old.
