What’s Inside the M&S Too Good to Go Surprise Bag?

On Saturday, I went out to grab a M&S Too good to go surprise bag for around £4.99- which is one of the most expensive bags there are in Liverpool. And to be fair- I don’t think it’s really worth the value when you compare it to places like Aldi, Morrisons or even Heron Foods. Though that said it is the M&S in Lime Street Station so the stock is widely different to the average M&S.

You don’t really get that much compared to ALDI or Morrison’s and what you will mostly get are ready meals. What I got in this bag were: cheese and ham sandwich, pilau rice, steak and old peculiar ale pie, single cream, creamy tzatziki and a tapas salad.

M&S Too Good to Go bag

It honestly was bigger than last I went but it just doesn’t feel great value at all for £4.99 when you start realizing what you can get from other places along with the fact that the staff at the Lime Street Station are working in a small place with high numbers of customers that some of them can be quite rude due to the working environment. I understand the reasons of why they might be like that but the attitude can be quite off-putting when going for a surprise bag.

I would not recommend this place for a Too Good to Go due to the attitudes of the employees and the little amount of food you get along with its bad environmental record as majority of it was plastic. Many use Too Good to Go to help the environment and reduce waste but a lot of this plastic is not recyclable at all which is a shame.
