Simply Dark Chocolate by Lidl is your bog standard dark chocolate which costs only £0.45 which is really cheap these days! It is quite thin as the standard dark and it’s enjoyable when eaten in small bites personally.
It’s just as bitter as the usual dark chocolate and tastes great and will work well in a ganache or for baking! I do plan on using it for a dark hot chocolate with soya or oat milk which I’ll be putting the recipe on this site soon.
The ingredients in this dark chocolate are: Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifiers: Soya Lecithins, Polyglycerol Polyricinoleate; Milk fat, Nut Paste (Hazelnuts, Peanuts), Vanilla Extract, Dark Chocolate contains: Cocoa Solids 50% minimum.

The chocolate also melts in your mouth and is quite smooth which is as good quality as other chocolates which are more expensive. It’s honestly a great find!
