Lidl’s Favorina White Chocolate Eggs Review

Lidl’s Favorina White Chocolate Eggs cost around £1.49 as of purchase time. I bought them very close to Easter, so it looked like their price had been slashed.

After I had opened one from its aluminium casing- they weren’t that special. I would have thought they’d contain some filling, but the flavour is like the Lidl white chocolate but in egg form. The Lidl’s Simply white chocolate is much cheaper than this (even though it’s 100g rather than 200g like the eggs) at around 45p.

I guess this would be pretty good for an Easter-themed party, but there’s nothing to write home about here- it would be better to get a more branded option in place of these. This is unfortunate as Lidl tends to be quite good with its products.

Ingredients: Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Cream Powder (Milk), Emulsifier: Lecithins; Vanilla Extract. White chocolate contains Milk solids of 24% minimum.

Nutritional Information per 100g: 569 calories, 35.6g fat (of which saturates: 22.7g), 56.4g carbohydrates (of which sugars: 53.5g), 0g fibre, 5.7g protein, 0.18g salt
