Lidl’s Rivercote Sour Cream & Onion Rice Crackers Review

Lidl’s Rivercote Sour Cream & Onion Rice Crackers for £0.71 (after a Lidl Plus coupon) – initially they would cost £0.89! These were amazing- especially the intense Unami flavors within them!

These rice crackers were terrific! They were not too hard to bite into but not too fragile, so they had a crunchy mouthfeel. The sour cream and onion flavoring complimented the cracker well as it was pretty strong and made the crackers into something that I would subconsciously eat, which meant the flavor was 🤌!

Rivercote sour cream and onion rice crackers

To enjoy the product most I had put the sides of the rice crackers with the most seasoning facing my tongue so that all the flavor could be enjoyed. Though if you try and lick the seasoning off without eating the cracker- it is way too salty.

Unfortunately, the product contains a large amount of salt, so despite how easy it is to eat these- I would suggest only having a quarter at a time due to this. I felt a bit drowsy after having a bit too many! Alongside this, due to how dry these are they don’t go off fast so it’s okay to store them after only having a small amount!

I rate them a five star due to their price and deliciousness! Though the salt could be reduced- it’s still really great!
