Lidl’s Dutch Style Café Noir Biscuits Review

The Lidl’s Dutch Style Café Noir Biscuits cost only £1.49 and gave a great tasting experience! They might be on the pricier side for biscuits, given that it is Lidl, but it is worth it!

These biscuits were bussing! Not only was the light coffee icing on top a robust and complex flavour, but the biscuit was also amazingly crunchy and not too hard, giving a great mouthfeel as it melts in your mouth. These get even better when you slather the Caramel Spread that they sell onto these as it adds a ‘Cinnabon ‘-like flavour to the biscuit, making it heavenly.

If they are too hard, however, you can dunk them into your coffee and eat them- imparting an even more intense coffee flavour into the biscuit as it disintegrates in your mouth. I do, however, prefer them with tea, but of course- for namesake, the coffee would do better.

They’re also great when you’re peckish, as I’ve not had much after having one or two, and they’re quite richer than other biscuits. This prevents you from eating one too many!

I, therefore, rate this a 5/5:
