This makes each pack of these cost 16p~ or 25p~. Alongside this, they are absolutely delicious and are plant-based which means vegans and vegetarians can enjoy it!
These lentil rings are absolutely divine! They are extremely airy and low calorie per bag which is much better to snack on than other potato chip packs and a much higher protein!
The flavour of these rings are soft yet have delicate hints of sour cream- I can’t really taste the chive though despite it being on the ring. The saltiness of the rings also give it a very savory flavour that is expected while there is some yeasty undertones to the snack as well which give it umami. There are secondary flavours of onion and garlic which activate in the aftertaste and as you get lower into the pack (where there’s more seasoning) you can taste these as you crunch on the rings.
Better yet, you can taste a slight tanginess in the rings as well which lends it a much more complex flavour. The whole pack is slightly satiating and is quite satisfying to eat as they have a nice crunch to them while not being too hard like some baked snacks. Overall, the Calbee’s Harvest Snaps are simply amazing and I rate them a 5/5!
