ASDA’s Classic Lemonade Review

ASDA’s Classic Lemonade has an amazing price of £0.60 (as of writing it had gone down from £0.80 to £0.60) and is 2L which is terrific when compared to brand-labels.

Asda’s classic lemonade is pretty much a standard tasting lemonade- the flavour of the lemon is there but it is not really as noticeable as other brands while the carbonation of the lemonade is spectacular! I added Lidl’s Solevita Organic Ginger Shot to it and it was amazingly good as the spiciness of the ginger shot really works well with the carbonation and the slight sweetness of the lemonade.

You can also add some cordial to the lemonade to boost its flavour and make it much more complex- I’ve started to do something like this and use the lemonade as a base for mixing my own drinks. It’s also amazing when you add ice to it as it is a really refreshing drink especially for summer!

I also added some of ASDA’s from concentrate orange juice to the lemonade and it made it absolutely amazing – in general, there’s a lot of combinations that you can do!

However, you may want to air on the side of caution as the lemonade does contain saccharine if this is a concern to you. The lemonade, unfortunately, does go flat very quickly so make sure you keep it in the fridge so that it doesn’t lose its carbonation.

Overall, I give this lemonade a 5/5 as it is literally the same as many other branded alternatives and is extraordinarily cheap!
