The Lidl Eridanous Roasted Ground Coffee is only available during Greek Week and costs only £1.89. The composition of the coffee is 77.5% Arabica and 22.45% Robusta Coffee.

Lidl Eridanous Roasted Ground Coffee

I found that the coffee is not at all strong as compared to other arabica and Robusta coffee’s. Therefore if you are making it the original way; make sure to use more coffee than you would if you’re a strong coffee drinker too. However- if strong coffee isn’t your thing then this is brilliant. It foams very well and tastes rich and intense!

The coffees flavor only really comes out when you use low sugar and add a pinch of salt. The salt really helps to lift the flavor and intensity out of the coffee while removing the bitterness. I tried a salted coffee with this with no sugar and it was absolutely amazing!

If you are not making it the way as instructed on the packaging (without the pod)- the coffee will leave debris. Therefore, it is advised to get an electric Greek coffee pod for this to enjoy it thoroughly.

If you’re pairing the coffee with food- I suggest eating these with sweet pastries. The sweet pastries will help with a bitter/sugarless coffee as I find that the Lidl eridanous ground coffee complements their flavor in your mouth while their flavor helps to remove the bitterness of the coffee.

Lidl Eridanous Roasted Ground Coffee Conclusion

Overall, this is a great coffee for the price! Even though, you will notice that a lot is needed to enjoy it thoroughly. Thus- it is best to buy more than one when purchasing at the store. The richness and intensity of the coffee is best enjoyed with pastry and the foaminess turns the experience into a luxury. Therefore, this coffee is well recommended as it is cheap and delicious!
