Lidl Carrick Glen Summer Fruits Sparkling Mineral Water costs £0.55 and is extremely flavorful! On the first sip you will notice a strong apple flavor. Then it is complemented by a rich raspberry tone then subsequently a sharp strawberry!
I enjoy using the sparkling water as a tonic replacement for gin as it is cheaper and gives great flavor as a base! The carbonation is pretty okay but its not the best. Though you should use it within a few days of opening. This sparkling water goes flat very quickly and this should be avoided.
Even putting it in the fridge – it will go flat fast. This is really the only downside to the drink. However, when chilled it is very great when added to cordial as it creates an extremely refreshing drink! As such I suggest the deluxe ginger cordial that Lidl sells for this drink to make it give a kick!
To conclude this review, the sparkling water is moderately okay. It’s got a great flavor and is super great when mixing. However, it unfortunately suffers from getting flat fast. Thus meaning that it has to be used sooner and won’t last as long as it could.
