Kuljanka Plum Spread from Lidl Review

Kuljanka Plum Spread from Lidl costs only £1.49 and tastes super tart yet appetizing. It’s cheap and serves as a great addition to your breakfast or lunch! Furthermore, it creates a killer jam sandwich!

I spread this plum jam on a piece of sourdough toast and it was amazing. What I liked most about it was that it wasn’t sweet- it was tart. A lot of jams are sweet or too sweet and you can’t really taste the natural flavor apart from just sugar. But with this plum spread- you can taste the plum very much!

Kuljanka Plum Spread

Butter on toast with this jam spread is amazing too! The creaminess and savory notes really lend to the tartness and help to elevate the flavor. While it also helps to provide a really harmonious mouthfeel as the creaminess lines the mouth with the slightly gooey jam. The aftertaste is not too acidy like a lot of jams out there which is nice and it doesn’t leave a bad lingering taste.

Alongside this, the jam would be perfect in a panna cotta or when baking! It would also taste amazing inside a cake layer too.

Overall, the Kuljanka Plum Spread is a great buy if you’re into using jam! However- it will go off within a few months if not used as jam is in fact perishable. The price is super cheap for the jam and it is extremely great quality along with the jar being reusable!
