The blueberry sauce is very rich and slightly tangy. While the coconut filling of the dessert is a beautifully airy and light surprise! Its a decadent explosion of flavor; the coconut is rich; then the texture is super creamy! There’s not really any noticeable aftertaste with the filling either which is great.
However, the biscuit crumble base is a bit too moist in these. Furthermore, it’s not really got a discernable texture rather than being mostly mushy. Additionally, there is also a slight sandiness to the biscuit crumble too therefore adding to the confusion. I was honestly expecting the biscuit crumble to be crunchy and crispy. This would have made the dessert a much more better experience.
All of these together merges the creaminess with the crumble that reduces the awkward texture of the biscuit base. While the blueberry adds sweetness to the richness of the coconut.
