Milkybar Mousse Set of Four Review

I got this set of four Milkybar Mousse desserts at a Too Good to Go from Heron’s Food. The set of four costs only £1.50 at Heron’s Food (as of writing) and is honestly something that should mostly be looked over when shopping! It is also available at Tesco and ASDA and other locations as well.

The Milkybar mousse is a very light and airy while having slight hints of the white chocolate. Though, the flavor is not strong enough in my opinion as it has no aftertaste (of the white chocolate) and lacks complexity. The sweetness of the mousse takes a bit of the enjoyment out as there is only the taste of the sweetness and the white chocolate. There is a lack of creaminess in the mousse or any oomph in there.

I feel like they could have added some salt to add some depth or a slight lift of complexity to the dessert but unfortunately it has been left out. A slight vanilla flavoring could have really done something here too but it just tastes bland. I had noted the taste tastes similar to what you’d find in cheap frosting on cakes.

However, if you’re looking or a dessert with low calories- this is it; it only has 70 calories per serving! Overall, anyway, I would definitely not recommend this to try as it is just bland and has no substance.
