This is a review on the Eridanous Mini Sesame Bars which are bought from Lidl for £2.19 (at the time of writing). They are quick and delicious snacks! Alongside this they taste less sweet than the other sesame bars Lidl does!
Since these mini bars are less sweet than other sesame bars – you can taste the sesame flavor more intensely. While the sweetness it does has helps to contrast with the slight oily tinge to the bars. It also has a semi-toasty flavor to it and with somewhat nutty tones. Unlike the larger bars, however, the honey flavor is much less apparent in these.
Perhaps it could be a placebo since they are smaller- but the ingredients are the same too. Though the sweetness doesn’t last as long or taste as strong in these. This is something I find much better. The crunchiness and crispiness of these are absolutely great too! It is a loud crunch along with a crispy break as you bite into these.
However cost wise; the bigger bars only cost £0.007 per gram while these cost £0.01095 per gram. This makes these mini bars slightly more expensive than the big bars when you pretty much get the same. Alongside this, there is too much plastic waste with the mini bars which makes the bigger ones more environmental too!
Overall, the Lidl Eridanous Mini Sesame Bars were absolutely delicious!
