Too Good to Go: Starbucks Sweet and Pastry Bag

Starbucks recently put up their Sweet and Pastry bags onto Too Good to Go a few days ago. Thus I decided that I wanted to buy one, which totaled for £3.50 at Prescot Street.

Honestly, it was quite disappointing as it feels less value compared to the other bag that is cheaper that we have reviewed on this site from the Starbucks in Liverpool Lime Street.

Starbucks sweet and pastry bag.

I’m not entirely sure what most of the items are called but the two chocolate lollypops were absolutely delicious. Though in reality- I wouldn’t recommend this place for the bag. If you’re looking for a better bag- you can go to Caffé Nero for their sweet and pastry bag instead. The Caffé Nero bag had much more value in it than this one and was absolutely delicious too! Their bag was also a lot more cheaper so it’s better if you’re looking to save money!

For sustainability- it’s great- there was no plastic packaging involved in this and all was simply paper. This is a stark contrast to their lunch or dinner bags as those use a lot more plastic. You can also offer to let them put it in your own bag as well!

The staff, however, at the location did offer to give me an extra bag as they did state that they felt there wasn’t enough. So I’m not entirely sure whether it’s just a corporate decision or a franchise decision to give less than other locations. I didn’t know if the bag was for someone else though so I had refused it. I’m glad that the staff at that location, though, are really friendly!
